SafeWork NSW is offering free in-person workshops to help business leaders and WHS professionals manage sexual harassment as a psychosocial hazard.

SafeWork NSW has launched a series of free in-person workshops titled "From Risk to Respect" to assist businesses in preventing workplace sexual harassment. According to the NSCA Foundation, the sessions aim to help business leaders and work health and safety professionals understand their legal obligations, identify risks, and implement practical control measures for sexual harassment as a psychosocial hazard.
The NSCA Foundation reports that the initiative aligns with a regulatory shift across Australian jurisdictions, where regulators including SafeWork NSW and WorkSafe Victoria have identified psychosocial hazard enforcement as a priority for 2026. Under recent changes to model WHS laws, persons conducting a business or undertaking have explicit obligations to manage psychosocial risks.
When: Multiple dates
Where: Various locations across New South Wales
Registration and specific workshop dates are available through the NSW Gov website. For more information, visit the original announcement by the NSCA Foundation.
