Squadron Leader Sam “Whippet” Gladman served for over 15 years in the Royal Australian Air Force operating the F/A-18F Super Hornet for over 1400 hours in peacetime and conflict. Whippet finished his flying career as an instructor-of-instructors on ‘Supers’ and was well reputed for his tailored and passionate Non Technical Skills (NTS) and Human Factors (HF) training. His recognised NTS expertise saw Whippet appointed as an Aircraft Accident Investigator in his final military role before leaving the Defence Force Now, as the Chief Operations Officer for an international unmanned aerial systems (Drone) company, and a former Human Factors Consultant, Whippet ‘walks the walk’, applying and espousing the HF and NTS principles that On Target will teach you, to his own corporate teams.
