How to use QR codes to automate work processes
Mobilise your team by placing QR codes around your workplace, on vehicles or equipment. Personnel can quickly scan via the Viking app to open existing records such as a vehicle asset or a safework procedure. You can also use a QR code to generate a new record within any module such as starting a new inspection.

Out in the field, a user can scan a QR code for a specific vehicle, and instantly access all relevant info including linked hazards, incidents, service history etc. From the record, they can also initiate a new pre-start inspection.
In this example a pre-start inspection question has been preconfigured using the myosh Rules Engine to trigger key processes if answered a certain way:
- a safety issue is flagged immediately
- alerts are sent via email or push notifications to whomever is responsible
- actions are automatically created to rectify or mitigate any potential hazards.
