Online Learning continues to be the most effective method of delivering organizational training and inductions. In fact, the latest figures from the ABS reveal Online Learning as the fastest growing method of work-related training, having increased from 12.8% in 2013 to 19.2% in 2017.

In this webinar, Sarah O’Leary  and Nigel Woodward discuss how organisations use Online Learning Platforms to share course content, test for understanding, and automatically issue certificates and notifications. Courses are web-based and can be completed anywhere with internet access, including on smartphones.

Why is Online Learning important?

Inductions inform employees and, ideally, should include their responsibilities, your expectations, and cover essential work, health and safety information. Content needs to be engaging and easy to understand.  Inductions should be easy to create, share, complete, track and verify.  Employers need to receive quick and timely notifications that inductions have been completed and, that employees are prepared (and excited) for their new role.

It makes good sense to automate this process for both your organisation and for the employee.  Spend less time on repetitive tasks and more time engaging with new personnel.  Email a link to a new employee and have inductions completed prior to site arrival.  New employees are able to start a new position confident that they have the knowledge to make a great start.
