This module focuses on identifying heat-related hazards in the workplace and outlines how to manage and prevent heat-related illnesses. It covers early warning signs, minor and serious health effects (including heat exhaustion and heat stroke), and practical risk management strategies such as hydration, acclimatisation, work scheduling, nutrition, PPE, and safe work design. The aim is to help workers recognise the signs of heat stress and apply effective controls.
