This module equips workers with the knowledge to identify fire hazards, understand fire classifications, use the correct fire extinguishers, and respond safely in a fire emergency. It explains the fire triangle and six classes of fire, outlines extinguisher types and their uses, and reinforces when and how to safely use extinguishers using the PASS technique (Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep). It also emphasises evacuation procedures and the importance of workplace-specific emergency planning.
