This module addresses key safety responsibilities for workplace driving activities. It outlines requirements for licensing, fitness to drive, prestart inspections, fatigue management, journey planning, and operating in rural or remote areas. It also covers the use of safety devices like alcohol interlocks and the importance of complying with road rules and vehicle load restraints. The module aims to reduce the risk of motor vehicle incidents, which remain a leading cause of workplace fatalities.

Relevant Australian Legislation:
