Ticking the Boxes for a COVID-Safe Workplace
Safe Work Australia has released a new checklist to help employers assess risks and safely transition staff back to the workplace.
Safe Work Australia has released a new transitioning back to usual workplaces checklist that guides employers through the process of assessing risks that arise from any resulting changes to work practices, procedures or the work environment.
Among other things, employers are encouraged to consult with workers, consider the latest government advice, adjust operational environments (e.g. the size and layout of the premises and the work being carried out by workers), consider the personal circumstances of workers, and review emergency plans and procedures.
